Brett Nicholson is the Founder and President of Senatus Wealth, and a trusted advisor in wealth, assurance, and business planning. For over 15 years, he has specialized in advanced strategies for wealth creation, preservation, and intergenerational transfer for private corporations, professionals, and high-net-worth families.
Brett studied Management and Organizational Studies (Accounting) at the University of Western Ontario and has been featured by BNN and The Hockey News for his work in the Sports & Entertainment market. Brett is also an active member of the Conference for Advanced Life Underwriters (CALU).
Before founding Senatus Wealth, Brett held roles with a major Canadian insurance company and one of Canada’s largest Schedule I banks, recognizing the need for a more integrated, client-focused approach—one that helps private business owners and professionals achieve financial independence faster than the status quo, without compensation conflicts of interest. That is why Senatus was created.
Today, Brett and the Senatus team are recognized by leading accounting and legal firms across Canada for their expertise in tax-efficient wealth, assurance, and transition planning. Their work integrates financial, legal, and family priorities into cohesive strategies that enhance clarity, control, and long-term results.
Outside of his professional work, Brett serves as Chair of For Peace of Mind, a mental health and neuroscience fundraising initiative at London Health Sciences Centre (LHSC).
