Cindy Wilson
Cindy is the senior M&A and financial advisory mind on the bench. She is the counsel UHNW families turn to in the year of a sale, a liquidity event, or a generational transfer of ownership — the moments where the wrong sequence costs more than the wrong price.
Within the firm, Cindy holds the work that turns a transaction into a chapter the family can keep. She handles capital structuring, deal sequencing, post-close architecture, and the financial decisions that compound across decades — held alongside the tax, legal, and estate counsel rather than handed off to it.
Across more than twenty-five years, Cindy has advised at every stage of the transaction lifecycle — from PricewaterhouseCoopers in Toronto and Melbourne, through IBM Canada, to the closely held succession matters that anchor her work at Senatus. The engagements are sensitive, the timelines unforgiving; her discipline is to keep the family’s architecture steady while the transaction runs around it.
Cindy holds the CPA, CA, CFA, and CSC; her early academic training was in science at the University of Western Ontario and commerce at the University of Windsor. Based in Toronto.
